Since 2005, Jagannath Gupta Memorial Educational society has been running Karmaarth, a CSR Initiative to provide an edge to the deprived section of the society by educating and helping them get suitable employment and to ensure that young entrants are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills needed for entry-level jobs.
We have made changes in our technology by going online from offline to serve such children. With this objective, the Karmaarth has been relaunched with a new name “Edumedha”. Edumedha reincarnates with a new name, approach and vision to reach millions of learners, map their skills, educate and empower them by going online, to bring them at par with others in terms of their performance, efficiency and capabilities.
The word ‘Medha’ stands for 'Mother Saraswati- the Goddess of Knowledge'. It is strongly believed that Goddess Saraswati endows human beings with the powers of speech, wisdom, and learning. We firmly hold that nobody should be deprived of education and we stand with this cause.
Objective
The primary objective of Edumedha is to focus on the skill development of the students as we strongly believe that these additional skills will be an add-on for them, to present themselves in the market and become self-sustained or start their own ventures. The objective is to ensure that young entrants are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills needed for entry level jobs.
