Established in 2010, the Edumedha Skill Centre at JIMS Rohini Sector-5 offers three professional courses – Office Management, Industrial Accounting, and Sales Executive. The centre provides students access to JIMS infrastructure, including classrooms and computer labs. Training is conducted in a hybrid mode with online classes from Monday to Friday and hands-on practice sessions in computer labs on Saturdays and Sundays. The centre caters to students from nearby areas such as Rithala Extension, Mangolpuri, Vijay Vihar (Phase I & II), Budh Vihar, Sultan Puri, Rajapur, Aman Vihar, Nangloi, Kirari, and Holambi Kalan.
Edumedha has forged impactful partnerships with several NGOs to deliver free, skill-oriented training programs aimed at empowering youth and women from economically weaker and marginalized communities. These collaborations are instrumental in advancing Edumedha’s mission of promoting employability, self-reliance, and sustainable livelihoods through practical, quality-driven education. To ensure maximum outreach and inclusivity, these training centres function as Edumedha’s extension centres, bringing vocational learning directly to the heart of communities.
Each centre adheres to Edumedha’s standardized curriculum, pedagogy, and monitoring framework, ensuring uniformity and academic rigor across all locations. While the centres are operated in partnership, every aspect—from trainer deployment and curriculum design to mobilization, examinations, placements, and certification—is managed entirely by Edumedha.
Extension centres serve as community engagement hubs, organizing mobilization drives, networking with local stakeholders, and facilitating employment linkages for trained candidates. Through this collaborative and community-centric approach, Edumedha has significantly expanded its footprint, creating a sustainable ecosystem where quality skill education and career opportunities become accessible to all segments of society.
